Banda71 is an 8-piece band playing a retrospective of traditional Brazilian carnaval music. The repertoire goes right back to the much loved sambas of 60s and 70s Rio de Janeiro and explores the wide variety of musical styles and rhythms from other parts of Brazil's incredibly diverse musical history.
